Amarok plugin error

If Amarok decides to no longer play MP3's giving the following error message:

No suitable demux plugin

This error can occur even if other installed linux media players still work as normal.

The solution is to shutdown Amarok, delete the ~/.xine directory then restart Amarok. It should now work as normal again.
