Resizing an ext2/ext3 filesystem

To resize a ext2/ext3 filesystem to its proper size run the following:

resize2fs /dev/md0

This can be useful if you have changed your ext2/ext3 filesystem to software raid or drbd as they both shorten the filesystem.
